Dannelly Reservoir is the body
of water behind the Millers Ferry Lock & Dam on the Alabama
River in Central Alabama.
Lake Eufaula is located
on the Chattahoochee River in the south-east corner of Alabama
on the border of Alabama and Georgia.
Guntersville Lake is located
on the Tennessee River in the north-east corner of Alabama.
Lake Harding is located on the Chattahoochee
River just north of Columbus, Georgia. It is on the eastern border
splitting
the state line of Georgia and Alabama.
Lake Jordan is located
25 miles north of Montgomery in central Alabama on the Coosa
River.
Lay Lake is located 30 miles
south of Birmingham in east-central Alabama.
Logan Martin Lake is located
in east-central Alabama on the Coosa River,30 miles east of Birmingham,
Alabama.
Lake Martin is located directly
south of Alexander City in Central Alabama on the Talapoosa River.
Lake Mitchell is located
10 miles east of Clanton in central Alabama on the Coosa River.
Lake Neely Henry is located
on the Coosa River in the northeast of the state directly south
of Gadsden, Alabama.
Pickwick Lake is located
in the extreme northwest corner Alabama on the Tennessee River.
Smith Lake is located in
north-central Alabama on the Black Warrior River, about an hour
north of Birmingham.
Lake Tuscaloosa islocated
5 miles north of Tuscaloosa in west-central Alabama on the Black
Warrior River.
Lake Wedowee (Lake Harris) is located in east-northeast
Alabama on the upper Tallapoosa Riverwest of Wedowee, Alabama.
Lake Weiss is located in
north-east Alabama on the Alabama and Georgia border on the Coosa
River.
West Point Lake is located
on the Chattahoochee River, along the Georgia - Alabama border
at the vertical mid-point of the state. Most of the lake is actually
located in Georgia.
Wheeler Lake is located
in north-central Alabama at Decatur, AL on the Tennessee River.
Wilson Lake is located in
north-northeastern Alabama just south of Florence, Alabama on
the Tennessee River.
Woodruff Lake aka Jones Bluff Reservoir
is located in central Alabama on the Alabama
River between Montgomery and Selma, Alabama.
Yates Lake is located in
east-central Alabama on the Tallapoosa River about 30 minutes
northeast of Montgomery, Alabama.
