Agua Milpa - Mexico Bass Fishing The Rio Santiago creates this 70,000 surface acre lake in the state of Nayarit. It is about 65 miles long and is the newest addition to the fine collection of bass fishing lakes in Mexico. The lake is nearly seventy miles long with plenty of pockets, coves and cover for multitudes of bass. Travel To Agua Milpa The lake is located approximately twenty miles east of Tepic, Mexico, in the state of Nayarit. For travel by land, follow Mexico Highway 15 south from Nogales, for 920 miles, to the city of Tepic, Mexico. From here you have choices depending which area of the lake you prefer to enter.
