It was first day out this season (3-6-06). I tried 3 new ponds
being new to the area with no luck. My freind had a small pond on
his land nearby and I thought I'd give it a shot. I fished for about
an hour and I tied on a 3/4 rattle. BOOM they started to hit. Here
was the biggest. 5lbs 21in. Not bad for the first day out.

Roger caught this 53.45 pound flathead cat fish at Wehrspann
lake on 6-16-08. IIt took over 20 minutes to get him in with the
help of a friend. He took him to the Aksarben aquarium, had him
weighed and then we let him go in one of their lakes. They will take him
to the Nebraska State fair this year and then it may be put into
one of their inside aquariums for everyone to see.
