Lake Jocassee is a 7,500-acre lake in the north-west corner of the state, at Jocassee, SC.

Lake Keowee is an 18,000-acre lake in the north-west part of the state, at Seneca, SC.

Lake Marion is a 110,000-acre lake in the central part of the state, at Santee, SC.
