Guide To Fishing At Aberdeen Lake
AKA: Aberdeen Reservoir

Anglers enjoy fishing from a boat, from the fishing pier, or from the bank at many access areas around fertile Aberdeen Lake. This is a 4,100-acre lake in the northeast section of the state, at the city of Aberdeen. Bass, catfish and crappie fishing are very popular here.
There are three species of bass, three kinds of catfish and both black and white crappie. White bass, bream and sunfish can also provide anglers with a good day of fishing. With all its swampy river bays and backwater, there are over five hundred miles of shoreline, most with excellent cover for all the fish species residing in this section of the Tombigbee River. Popular boating access locations include Blue Bluff Campground on the west side of the lake off Lock and Dam Road, and at Aberdeen Marina Store on the east side off Old Hwy 25 and Deer Road.
