In season fishing for bass and sunfish along the 30-plus miles of shoreline is productive, and trolling and jigging for trout and salmon is very effective. Ice fishing for trout, salmon and perch is popular. Rental boats, a marina, stores and lodging are open to the public. The main boat launch ramp is located on the west side of the lake at Knights Landing, off Fire Road #4. Much of the west shores of the lake are developed, however the east side of the lake is not providing numerous places for fishing from the bank.
