Home to some of the largest bass caught in Oklahoma, Sardis Lake also affords anglers the opportunity to fish for white bass, catfish, crappie, walleye,and sunfish. This 14,000-acre bass factory is located in the southeast part of the state, at Clayton, OK. Anglers can explore the 117 miles of shoreline from a boat, or in some areas fish from the bank in public use areas, campgrounds and along roadways. Several boat launch ramps serve the public for launching pleasure boats, pontoons, canoes, kayaks and fishing boats. Boaters heed caution for the lake is scattered with islands, and varying lake levels may make boating treacherous in some areas. Services are limited at the lake, so come prepared. No rental boat are available.
