This 5,300-acre reservoir, in central Oklahoma, is only 5 miles east of Norman. 86 miles of shoreline welcome anglers fishing from the bank, or from a boat in search of the many fish species residing here. Crappie, catfish, bass, saugeye, and sunfish are here in relative good numbers. Nine boat launch ramps serve boaters wishing to go skiing, sightseeing or fishing. Boats are available for rent, or bring your own kayak, canoe, pleasure boat, pontoon or fishing boat. Marinas, parks, camping, dining, convenience stores, and other local amenities welcome visitors to this friendly community.
