The serene setting of Thunderbird Reservoir awaits your visit for a day on the water. Virtually surrounded by parks and public lands, Lake Thunderbird is a great place for boating and relaxing. This 5,300-acre reservoir, in central Oklahoma, is only 5 miles east of Norman. 86 miles of shoreline welcome visitors enjoying shoreline activities, or boating and sightseeing.
