Fishing At Lake St Catherine
AKA: St Catherine Lake
Fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, black crappie, rainbow trout, brown trout, bluegill, pumpkinseed sunfish, yellow perch and northern pike at Lake St Catherine in Vermont.
The picturesque fishery of Lake St Catherine is an 850-acre lake in the southwest part of the state, at Poultney, VT. Nearly a dozen miles of shoreline wrap this deep lake which offers fishing for both warm-water and cold-water fish species. The lake contains a variety of both, including bass, crappie, trout, sunfish, perch and pike. These same species can be found in the two small connected pools, Lily Pond and Little Lake. A boat launch ramp is located in the channel leading from the south end of St Catherine Lake into Little Lake, off W Lake Road. Fishing enthusiasts can find areas for fishing from the bank at Lake St. Catherine State Park as well as other open areas around the lake not on private property. Ice fishing, including derbies, is popular in winter once the ice is safe. Additional information about fishing at Lake St Catherine can be found here. This is a great lake for boating as well as canoes and kayaks.
