Situated in the Ozark Mountains, Beaver Lake is a 30,000-acre impoundment with 480 miles of shoreline. Beaver Reservoir is located in the northwest corner of the state just east of Rogers, with easy access from all directions. Fishing enthusiasts are drawn here in search of bass, striped bass, hybrid stripers, walleye, white bass, crappie, catfish and several species of sunfish. Anglers preferring to fish from the bank can find areas for shoreline fishing at many of the public access areas around the lake. Many of these areas allow portage of kayaks, canoes and car topper boats. Boat ramps are open to the public for launch of all types of larger pleasure and fishing boats. Numerous marinas offer rental boats, shopping, mooring and other marina services for boating customers. Campgrounds and RV parks are scattered all around the lake.
