With its reputation for great fishing, Sherman Reservoir is a great place for family gatherings as well as serious fishing trips. This 2,800-acre lake in the central part of the state offers a variety of species for catching Bass, walleye, crappie, catfish, sunfish and northern pike all abide here. Relatively easy access to miles of shoreline makes this a good spot to fish from shore. With three boat ramps and three docks it makes for easy launching. Fishing from canoes and kayaks, to bass boats and other fishing boats provides access to the schools of fish which thrive in the main lake, around structure. Many species, including pike, move shallow in early spring and return to deeper water once summer warms the lake.
