Guide To Fishing At Waramaug Lake
AKA: Lake Waramaug

Exceptionally scenic Waramaug Lake is a 650-acre lake located in the northwest corner of CT. A little over 8 miles of shoreline is lined with trees and private property. When the leaves turn colors in fall, it is absolutely beautiful setting.
The lake is populated with bass, perch, chain pickerel, catfish and several species of sunfish. There is limited access to the shoreline for fishing from the bank. Check boating restrictions before launching at the public boat ramp. Canoes, kayaks and car-top boats are an ideal choice here.
