Big Pool Lake is a 92-acre lake in the north-central of the state, 2 miles south of Indian Springs.

Broadford Lake is a 140-acre lake in the northwest corner of the state, on the eastern outskirts of Oakland.

Clopper Lake is a 90-acre lake in the west-central part of the state, 2 miles south of Germantown.

Deep Creek Lake is a 3,800-acre lake in the northwest corner of the state, 8 miles northeast of Oakland.

Jennings Randolph Lake is a 950-acre lake in northwest Maryland, 12 miles east of Oakland.

Lake Habeeb is a 243-acre lake in the northwest part of the state, 10 miles northeast of Cumberland.

Lake Lariat is a 72-acre lake in the southeast part of the state, 3 miles northeast of Johnstown.

Liberty Reservoir is a 3,100-acre lake in the north-central part of the state, south of Finksburg.

Little Seneca Lake is a 500-acre lake in the central part of the state, at Boyds.

Prettyboy Reservoir is a 1,500-acre lake in the north-central part of the state, 4 miles west of Parkton.

Rocky Gorge Reservoir is a 770-acre lake in the central part of the state, 1 mile south of Fulton.

St. Mary's Lake is a 250-acre lake in the south-central part of the state, at Callaway.

Triadelphia Reservoir is a 800-acre lake in the central part of the state, 2 miles south of Dayton.

Youghiogheny River Lake is a 2,800-acre lake on the Pennsylvania-Maryland border, 2 miles north of Friendsville.
