AKA: Leesville Reservoir
Fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, channel catfish, black crappie, white crappie, bluegill, pumpkinseed sunfish, yellow perch, northern pike, muskie and saugeye at Leesville Lake in Ohio.
Known for its excellent muskellunge (muskie) fishing, Leesville Lake is a 1,000-acre lake in the northeast part of the state, with over 25 miles of shoreline. Boats have a 10-hp limit, so canoes, kayaks, inflatables and car-top boats are popular here. Rental boats are available at the lake from several locations. There are two marinas on the lake and one public launch ramp. The camping areas and public access areas around the lake provide opportunities for fishing from the bank. Campgrounds with RV hookups, lodging, fishing tackle, shops, restaurants and lodging are all close at hand.
