Fishing At Lake Kegonsa
AKA: Lake Kegonsa State Park
Fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, channel catfish, black crappie, white crappie, walleye, bluegill, pumpkinseed sunfish, rock bass, yellow perch, musky and northern pike at Lake Kegonsa in Wisconsin.

Boating and fishing enthusiasts relish days spent on Lake Kegonsa, a 3,200-acre lake in the southeast part of the state, at Stoughton. For anglers who enjoy casting to the bank, there are over 10 miles of shoreline. For those preferring to troll or cast to deeper waters, there's plenty of opportunity. Popular here are white bass, bluegill, crappie and walleye, but bass, catfish, perch, pike and musky also get a fair bit of attention. Four boat launch ramps, a swimming beach and LaFollette County Park allow lake access for the public, some of which provides opportunity for fishing from the bank. Rental boats, lodging, camping and supplies are all available at the lake.
