The surface area is 12,000-acres, located in the east-central part of the state, at Glendo, WY. There is access to quite a bit of the 40 miles of shoreline for fishing from the bank or portage of canoe, kayak or small fishing boat. There is plenty of camping, including RV spaces with hookups. Rooch's Glendo Marina provides boat rental, boat launch, a restaurant and a store with groceries, ice, sundries and drinks. Ice fishing is popular once the ice is safe.
