Guide To Fishing At Grayrocks Reservoir
AKA: Grayrocks Lake

Grayrocks Dam, on the Laramie River backs up water to create Grayrocks Reservoir, aka Grayrocks Lake, an 1,800-acre lake in the east-central part of the state. More than 20 miles of shoreline are available to explore form a boat, kayak or canoe.
Several miles of shoreline along the south side of the lake are accessible for for both tent and RV camping (no hookups) and fishing from the bank. Primitive boat launching is also available. Other services, stores, RV parks, lodging and restaurants are within 10 miles of the lake at the nearby towns of Gurnsey, Fort Laramie and Wheatland. Year round fishing can be quite good at times as the lake does not get excessive pressure. Bass, catfish, crappie, walleye, perch and muskie all reside here.

Located mid lake, on the south side of the lake, off Grayrocks Road, this is a two-lane, concrete ramp with a dock and gravel parking.
