Guide To Fishing At Torch Lake
AKA: Torch

Known for its crystal clear water, Torch Lake is an excellent destination for boating, beach parties and fishing. The lake is 19 miles long with 18,800 surface acres and over 40 miles of shoreline.
Anglers are drawn to this lake, in the northwest part of the lower peninsula, to fish for bass, trout, walleye, salmon, musky and pike. Big fish, and large populations, give fishing enthusiasts hope for some of the best fishing around. Great fishing is available most of the year, including ice fishing in winter. Fishing guides and charters are available to enhance your chances of catching a trophy, or to have a trip of a lifetime. Numerous boat launch ramps are conveniently located around the lake, which has no horsepower limits for boats. This big lake is ideal for pontoon boats and larger pleasure and fishing boats, yet there are plenty of areas where kayaks, canoes and car-top boats can enjoy a day on the water. The area has plenty of camping, RV hookups, lodging, restaurants, bait shops and supplies.
