Fishing Boats For Rent In Michigan

There are thousands of lakes, ponds and streams available for fishing in the state of Michigan. We will focus here on the larger impoundments offering a nice variety of fish to pursue. Many of these lakes offer fishing boats for rent.

Here, you can fish for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, channel catfish, flathead catfish, black crappie, white crappie, walleye, rainbow trout, brook trout, brown trout, lake trout, bluegill, green sunfish, hybrid sunfish, pumpkinseed sunfish, redear sunfish, rock bass, warmouth, white bass, white perch, yellow perch, Atlantic salmon, coho salmon, bowfin, longnose gar, muskie, northern pike, sauger, sturgeon and tiger muskie in local lakes, rivers, ponds and/or streams.

Ice fishing is very popular for many of these sunfish.

Belleville Lake is a 1,270-acre lake in the southern part of the Lower Peninsula, at the town of Belleville.

Black Lake is a 10,000-acre lake at the northern tip of the Lower Peninsula, at Waverly.

Brevoort Lake is a 4,200-acre lake in the eastern part of the Upper Peninsula, at Brevoort.

Burt Lake is a 17,000-acre lake in the northern tip of the Lower Peninsula, at Indian River.

Cass Lake is a 1,280-acre lake in the southeast part of the Lower Peninsula, at Pontiac.

Coldwater Lake is a 1,610 acre lake near the southern border of the Lower Peninsula, at Kinderhook.
