Fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, channel catfish, flathead catfish, blue catfish, black crappie, white crappie, bluegill, white bass, yellow bass and hybrid striped bass at Benbrook Lake in Central Texas.

With 40 miles of shoreline to fish, Benbrook Lake is a 3,700-acre lake conveniently located on the southwest outskirts of Fort Worth. Hybrid striped bass and largemouth bass are favorite targets here, but the lake also offers decent crappie, catfish and sunfish fishing.

Year round fishing opportunities are highlighted by bass in spring, hybrid striped bass in early summer, crappie in spring and summer, white bass and catfish in summer, and most species can be caught in winter if you can locate their deeper holding areas. The marina offers gas, fishing gear, docks and a boat launch (fee required). Pleasure boats, fishing boats, kayaks and canoes all offer an opportunity to experience the fishing and water-sport activities on Benbrook Reservoir.

Located mid lake, west side, off Pearl Ranch Road, this is a one-lane, concrete ramp with paved parking.
