About Blue Marsh Lake
The picturesque setting of Blue Marsh Reservoir awaits your visit for a day on the water. Although it is a day-use only area, Blue Marsh Lake is open to boats of any horsepower. This 1,150-acre lake is located in the east-central part of the state, 7 miles northwest of Reading, PA. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boats are popular here. There are areas accessible from the highway for shore activities, via the lake border trail.

Blue Marsh North Boat Launch
Located on the east side of the northwest arm of the lake, on the east side, this is a two-lane, concrete ramp with paved parking for over sixty vehicles with trailers.
Dry Brooks Boat Launch
Located in the east side of the lake, off Palisades Drive, this is a two-lane, concrete ramp with docks and plenty of parking.
State Hill Boat Launch
Located in the southwest corner of the lake, this is a two-lane, concrete ramp with docks and tons of paved parking.
