Fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, channel catfish, black crappie, white crappie, walleye, bluegill, hybrid sunfish, pumpkinseed sunfish, rock bass, yellow perch and hybrid striped bass at Hammond Lake in Pennsylvania.

An excellent destination for boating, camping, hiking and fishing, Hammond Lakes are also considered twin lakes. This 640-acre lake in north-central PA, is located in Tioga-Hammond Lakes Recreation Area. Well known for excellent crappie fishing, it is also provides good fishing for hybrid striped bass and bluegill. Bass, walleye, perch and other sunfish are also available here.

Three boat launch ramps serve boaters for launch of all types of boats. Canoes, car-toppers and kayaks are a nice option here as well. Over 30 miles of shoreline allow anglers plenty of room to explore on their own. The town of Tioga is only a couple minutes away and offers shopping, gas and dining. Campgrounds with RV hookups are available at the lake and nearby.

Public Boat Launch Ramps & Landings

Campers Launch
Located in the Ives Run Campground, mid lake on the south side, this is a nice, four-lane, concrete boat launch ramp with concrete parking for about eighty vehicles with boat trailers.

There are two, three-lane, concrete ramps here. It is located in the southwest corner of the lake and has plenty of gravel parking.
