About Geist Reservoir
The tranquil setting of Geist Lake awaits your visit for a day on the water. This 1,800 acre lake is situated in the northeast outskirts of Indianapolis, IN. The lake is surrounded primarily by homes, many with boat docks. Geist Marina has a public boat launch and offers boat rentals and boat storage. Public Boat Launch Ramps & Landings
Fall Creek Trail at Geist Dam, Launch Area
Located in the southwest corner of the lake, off Fall Creek Trail, at the west end of the dam, this is a primitive launch area with primitive parking.
Geist Launch Ramp
Located in the northeast corner of the lake, east side, at the south end of the Olio Road Bridge, this is a three-lane, concrete ramp with docks and paved parking.
