Abundant cover for largemouth bass makes Mozingo Lake an ideal lake for bass fishing. Walleye, crappie, catfish and sunfish also reside in this 1,000-acre lake, in the northwest corner of the state, 5 miles east of Maryville.
There is plenty of brush, vegetation and rip-rap rocks along the 26 miles of shoreline to appeal to any anglers eye. A concrete boat launch ramp is located on the east side of the lake, just north of the golf course, on 245th Street. A second, smaller boat landing is located at the northwest corner of the lake off 220th Street.
