This family vacation reservoir has fifty miles of rocky shoreline and lots of room for beach and boating activities. Access for fishing from the bank is available at campgrounds and via primitive roads and trails around the lake, primarily along the west side. Boating access is via Hogan Reservoir Boat Ramp in the Acorn Recreation Area, off New Hogan Parkway.
