Fishing At Standley Lake
Fishing for rainbow trout, brown trout, walleye, smallmouth bass, channel catfish and yellow perch at Standley Lake in Colorado.
Westminster, a suburb of Denver, is home to Standley Lake, a nice location for boating and fishing. This 1,200 surface-acre lake, with nearly 5 miles of shoreline, provides recreation for fishing enthusiasts, boaters and swimmers in the warmer months. This relatively warm-water reservoir allows bass, walleye, catfish, perch and trout fishing, all in the same waters. There are three boat launch ramps for pleasure boats, pontoons, sailboats and fishing boats. For anglers wishing to fish from the bank there is considerable access around the lake via hiking paths.
