Fish species to fish for...
Guide to fishing for largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, channel catfish, walleye, rainbow trout, brown trout, bluegill, yellow perch and wiper at Standley Lake in Colorado.
Westminster, a suburb of Denver, is home to Standley Lake, a nice location for relaxing and fishing. This 1,200 surface-acre lake, with nearly 5 miles of shoreline, provides recreation for fishing, picnicking and swimming in the warmer months. This relatively warm-water reservoir allows bass, walleye, catfish, perch and trout fishing, all in the same waters. The boat ramps are now closed as no boats are allowed on the lake. For anglers wishing to fish from the bank there is considerable access around the lake, via hiking paths.
