About Standley Lake
The serene setting of Lake Standley awaits your visit for a day on the water. Westminster, a suburb of Denver, is home to Standley Lake which is a nice location for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. This 1,200 surface-acre lake, with nearly 5 miles of shoreline, provides recreation opportunities for picnicking and swimming in the warmer months. This relatively warm-water reservoir allows for a variety of fish species to thrive, all in the same waters. The boat ramps are now closed. Trailered and motorized boats are strictly prohibited on the lake. Kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards are allowed. For visitors wishing to enjoy shoreline activities, there is considerable access around the lake, via hiking paths.
