What amounts to a wide spot in the Pee Dee River, Blewett Falls Lake is the epitome of a peaceful day fishing. This 2,560-acre lake in the south-central part of the state, does not get the boat traffic like other local lakes. Bass, catfish and crappie are of primary interest here. However the reservoir also has populations of white bass, stripers and walleye. Shoreline fishing opportunities are plentiful with easy access. There are two boat ramps for launching and close-by parking.

Public Boat Launch Ramps & Landings
Boating Access - Grassy Island
This is a one-lane concrete ramp with a dock and limited parking. It is located in the northeast corner of the lake off Grassy Island Road.
Pee Dee Access Area
Locate in the southwest corner of the lake, this is a three-lane, concrete boat launch ramp with ample paved parking for sixty or more vehicles.
